"With us it's always what we shouldn't have taken.  Keep the spare clothing to a minimum.  Don't double up on tools.  Make sure you have stretchy straps, like occy straps - but only one or two. A good quality handlebar…"

I will be a newbite to TdU.  The stages have been released.  For someone staying in Adelaide, what is the best place to drive to for the Willunga Hill stage?  http://www.tourdownunder.com.au/tours-and-news/men/stages/stage-6See More

ACE250

Posted on January 15, 2015 at 11:43 6 Comments

A somewhat scary leadup to ACE250.  I'm trianing for the March Melbourne Ironman and thought the ACE250 would be good bike leg training.  But it's become a bit of a beast, what with qualification, lighting rules, weekend leave pass (!) and additional accommodation.

I am hoping to do ok without any world beating times.  And looking forward to Monday with a possible recovery cycle up Mt Buffalo.
