Don't suppose you still have your 101's for sale and if so don't suppose they are silver? I'm after a set. Cheers.

Hi,

The first order hits the ground in a bit less than a month. I'll make it available a week or so before that (so early Oct). There will be more ordering after that. There are knicks, bibs and cap.

Cheers
Gus

I guess with SPD Cleats on hills it will be a bit tough to clip off (well mine are slightly stiff). I am looking at getting another pair of roadbike shoes anyways so if spd-sl is the way to go for climbing as well as riding on flats then i thnk thats what I will have to get pedal wise and cleat wise, are they easier to unclip? because i found my SPD's a bit stiff on my spd pedal even putting a little bit of the special oil on the pedal. I might have a look at wiggle and see what they have or if you can recmend any good shops online, or Adelaide physical shops i can do tht have good price on cycling gear?

Yeah i mainly use it when im on the spin bike but have found them comfy when riding on flats as well.. but again, stiff.

Yeah, I dont feel I have actually used the 810 to its maximum yet but its an amazing little unit... cant say I think much abt the mounting of it on the bike.. .

Thanks Coppo for that info :)

I will definitly give you guys a yell when im ready, at the moment I need a buddy thats got the patience to hang back and wait. One question tho: is it good to start to learn on cleats? I have SPD's.

I do have a Garmin 810 kit so that measures a bit of whats ahead. so hopefully i can make proper use of it in the hills :) Thanks for the advice!

Thanks Coppo..I completely understand winter's affect on cycling activity - especially on days like today! The group sounds ideal for me, and Sunday mornings I can normally engage in negotiations with my surfer wife (who also likes to take advantage of a good swell when it appears on the weekend) to get out for a ride.

I think the kind of training necessary for the Alpine Classic will be made much more bearable with some company.

My mobile is 0490031296, so it would be great to get info on upcoming rides.

Cheers and thanks..

Scott
