This coming Tuesday evening is the Michael Warner Memorial ride. Leaving Hurtle Square on 7 pm we make our way to view his memorial plaque near the top of the Old Freeway. Planning on two options to get there. The climbers make their way via Belair Rd up through awindy Point and through Belair to tackle Sheoak Road to get to Crafers. The slower option is to tackle the Old Freeway, so something for everyone of different ability the way Michael would like it.

Hi Hely, forcast tomorrow is 41 degrees. Not sure if I will make this ride because don't want to melt....but still thinking of a ride down the coast. Doing a ride down the coast there are lots of opportunity for drink stops.

A few want a ride tonight so the plan is one group to head out via North Adelaide down Torrens Rd to the Port Adelaide bridgethen return via Semaphore and Henley back to the city. Bocellis at 9pm. Don't forget to bring water, lights, spare tube and pump....
Pace will be around 24 to 28 km/hr average....slow enougg not to get too hot and not too slow to enjoy the slight westerly breeze......

Hi Frank some park their car near Bocellis on Hutt St near Wakefield St as the ride finishes there. It is only a short roll down to Hurtle Square from there. Other option is parking your car just off the eatern side of Hurtle Square across the road where we start but if you do this you will need to ride back from Bocellis after the ride to collect your car. Either way parking doesnt seem to be an issue....
