This event will be run concurrently on the same day at the same time with another Gawler Wheelers event.
The route is predominantly an intermediate hill climber's ride starting in Gawler and finishing in Gawler.
After leaving Gawler, the ride follows the Stuart O'Grady Bikeway (SOB) until the intersection with Curtis Rd.
The route then passes through Muno Para, Blakeview and eventually Craigmore via Adams Rd, where the first long steady climb starts on Yorktown Rd. The climbing continues with a left turn onto Black Top Rd which leads to the township of One Tree Hill.
The visit to One Tree Hill is only fleeting as a left turn onto Cornishmans Hill Rd starts the climbing again, eventually reaching Uley Rd.
A left turn onto Uley Rd starts the descending phase of the route eventually reaching the roundabout on Adams Rd, where a right turn is made.
The route then continues along Adams Rd until it reaches the roundabout on Craigmore Rd, where another right turn is made.
Craigmore Rd continues upward, eventually reaching Medlow Rd, where a right turn continues the route to its peak at the intersection with the Gawler-One Tree Hill Rd, where a left turn is made.
The Gawler-One Tree Hill Rd is ridden for some distance before a left turn onto Kentish Rd begins the final downhill run into Gawler.
The Gawler Wheelers Group Ride Guidelines and Group Ride Recommendations must be read prior to attending a Group Ride Event.
