This event will be run concurrently on the same day at the same time with another Gawler Wheelers event.
A flat ride starting in Gawler and finishing in Gawler.
Leaving Gawler, a combination of Para Rd, Farrow Rd and Brereton Rd lead to Jack Cooper Drv where a right turn is made.
After passing over the Gawler Bypass Bridge a right turn onto a short section of the Sturt Hwy is followed by a left turn onto the start of the northern end of the Stuart O'Grady Bikeway (SOB). The SOB is a distinctly separate bike path that runs alongside the Northern Expressway and bisects a number of local roads along its path.
The route then takes in the full 23 km length of the SOB, eventually reaching the southern end, which is adjacent to Port Wakefield Rd.
The return journey to Gawler is the reverse of the outbound path and on completion of the route, a total of 46 km will have been ridden along the bikeway with the remaining 7 km being ridden on local connecting roads.
The Gawler Wheelers Group Ride Guidelines and Group Ride Recommendations must be read prior to attending a Group Ride Event.
